Terms of service

Last updated October 23, 2026. These terms are between you and Striking Ventures ("we"), which runs Remote. By starting a trial or using Remote, you agree to them.

1. What Remote is

Remote is a text-message assistant. You text a phone number we give you; Remote works with the tools you connect in your own Claude account and texts you back. Remote uses AI and can make mistakes. Check anything important before you rely on it.

2. Your account

You need to be 18 or older and use Remote for your own work or business. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for what happens under your account. Remote only takes instructions from the phone numbers registered to your account.

3. Trial, billing and cancelling

• Remote Self-Serve starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start it.
• If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged $199 per month (plus any applicable tax), billed by Stripe, until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future charges; service continues until the end of the period you paid for. Payments already made aren't refunded, except where the law requires.
• We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period after that notice.

4. What you need

Remote works best on an iPhone with iMessage. It also needs your own Claude plan, Pro or higher (personal plans; Team plans aren't supported yet), with scheduled tasks and connectors. Remote's work runs on your Claude plan and counts toward its usage limits. You're responsible for your accounts with Anthropic and any tools you connect.

5. How Remote acts for you

• Remote asks for your approval before sending anything to other people, unless your own text tells it to go ahead, or you've set a rule that allows it.
• Remote never moves money.
• You're responsible for the instructions you give and the actions you approve.

6. Acceptable use

Remote is a one-to-one assistant. Don't use it to send bulk, cold or unsolicited messages, to harass anyone, to break the law, or to break the rules of Apple, your carrier, or the tools you connect. We may pause or close an account that does, and we may limit use that puts our phone lines at risk.

7. Your data

You own your content. You let us store and process it only to run Remote for you, as described in our privacy policy. Your email, calendar and files stay in your own Claude account; we don't hold the logins for your connected tools.

8. Third-party services

Remote depends on other companies, including Anthropic (Claude), Photon (text delivery), Stripe (payments), Supabase and Vercel (hosting). We aren't responsible for their outages or changes, but we'll tell you if a change affects Remote.

9. No warranty

Remote is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every message will be delivered.

10. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

11. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we'll email you first. You can stop using Remote at any time. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, or right away if these terms are broken.
